The Sycura® cover is designed and manufactured to ensure the protection of Synergic Italiana’s mattresses, pillows and all other products and to provide the patient with maximum conditions of comfort, hygiene, safety and biocompatibility and ease of handling for health care workers. Its use is ideal in promiscuous and contamination-prone environments such as hospitals, nursing homes and RSAs. The Sycura® lining is made of high-tech self-extinguishing fabric consisting of a special microporous polyurethane membrane and a polyester microfiber backing.

Waterproof
Provides a total barrier to the passage of biological fluids (urine, blood, sweat, etc.), preventing their absorption and preventing the passage of bacteria and viruses.
Breathable
Allows skin perspiration and prevents body overheating while ensuring guest comfort.
Bielastic
The high bielasticity of the fabric provides excellent postural comfort and is very useful in prolonged and specialized stays, avoiding the hammock effect and also the friction force is optimal in preventing compression injuries.
Biocompatible
With permanent sanitary treatment, it controls the development of bacteria, fungi and mold moreover, due to its microporosity characteristics, it is an effective means of control in the transmission of possible infections. It is certified by biological test reports toward cytotoxicity and skin sensitization.
Fire retardant
It is self-extinguishing class 1 and meets, with appropriate padding, class 1M reaction to fire (Italian ministerial approval).
Antistatic
Has antistatic and dissipative activity, which is useful when applying magnetic fields.
Easy to clean and sanitize
It is easily cleaned with common detergents and sanitized with different types of disinfectants.
Washable and spinable
Washable at high temperature and spinable in ordinary washing machines. It can be subjected to disinfection and sterilization procedures as per the standards of use.
Reduces costs
Thanks to its unique features, it can cut down on the cost of running the sleeping place (great simplicity for staff in use and maintenance), while also greatly extending the life of mattresses and pillows.
