Flex: Specialist Mattresses
Specialty, static and reactive hospital mattresses made of polyurethane foam with high resilience and medium to medium-high density, for common, pediatric, neonatal and specialty inpatient stays, including antidecubitus. The materials making up the padding are open-cell honeycomb structure to ensure high breathability.
Flex series mattresses feature a whole or sectioned structure with a smooth support surface(Flex Comfort model), shaped with deep truncated pyramids with independent movement(Flex Antidecubitus model), or bimodular with a cradle structure with containment and safety edges and a wave-shaped support surface made of special visco-elastic memory foam(Flex Memory model).
Available with Flame Stop and Flame Proof lining in Trevira CS® (breathable and self-extinguishing) or with Sycura® lining (waterproof, breathable, bi-elastic, antistatic, self-extinguishing and self-decontaminating).
The Flex series models are particularly suitable in low- and medium-specialized hospitalizations and for low compressive gradient posture on the musculoskeletal system.

Certifications
- The performance requirements of non-deformability and durability of Flex series mattresses are certified in accordance with UNI 10707 – rev. 2003, by LAPI, a suitable authorized laboratory (compliance with technical tests was achieved by passing the highest level of severity, i.e. 45,000 cycles).
- Biomedical ( Flex Comfort model) and antidecubitus (Flex Antidecubitus and Flex Memory models) area comfort index are certified according to the ErgoCert technical specification.
- Flex series mattresses are CE marked, as required by the EU MDR 2017/745 and approved by the Ministry of the Interior in fire reaction class 1 IM according to CSE RF 4/83 DM 26/06/84 (UNI 9175 and UNI 9175/FA1 DM 03/09/2001).
- They are Latex-Free certified products.
